ORDINATION MENTORING

Are you ready to continue "Your Call" Journey?
An eventual step will be attending an Ordination Mentoring Day once you are closer to completing your Ministerial Studies and required years of service.
ORDINATION MENTORING DAY
A couple of years ago, we started an "Ordination Mentoring Day" which was so well received. We are offering Ordination Mentoring Day every year and you are invited!
The Ordination Mentoring Day is offered on Fall every year.
-
The event will take place at the DRC (District Resource Center)
5906 Harbour Park Dr., Midlothian, VA 23112 -
Start time 9:00 AM. Conclusion no later than 3 PM.
-
RSVP Required - We need at least 5 people to attend in order to make it effective.
-
Free – Lunch provided!
Being invited to the Ordination Mentoring Day does not automatically mean that you will be ordained this year. That decision rests with the Credentials Board, the Assembly, and the General Superintendent. However, Ordination Mentoring Day is strongly recommended for ordination and we expect that you will complete this step in one of the last couple of years prior to your ordination.
Here are the primary objectives of the Ordination Mentoring Day:
-
An affirmation of what it means to be ordained through the administration of the Church of the Nazarene
-
A review of pertinent Manual paragraphs
-
An insight into the ordination experience, and conversation about specific expectations related to the ordination service
-
Development of a stronger friendship with others in the ordination track
I really do believe we have some valuable mentoring to offer to you.
