BEST WEEK EVER
KidS Camp

JULY 7-10, 2025

VA District Kids Camp is an annual gathering for the children of the Virginia District Church of the Nazarene, for kids that completed grades 1 to 5. We gather together in July at the Virginia District Retreat Center for a week focused on Jesus Christ full of fun and engaging activities. Camp is a foundational event in the spiritual life of our children and can prepare them for a lifetime of serving Christ.

important details

  • Choose Your Tracks: During camp kids get to rotate to various special activities. You will sign up for these when you register.

  • Team Colors: Every year each grade is designated a color and we encourage you to send them with as much of that color clothing as possible. It will promote team spirit. The colors are designated as follows: Completed 1st and 2nd grades -YELLOW; Completed 3rd grade - GREEN; Complete 4th grade - BLUE; Completed 5th grade - RED. This is a loved camp tradition! It would be awesome if you all packed your children’s bag full of their team colors to be a part of this camp tradition.

  • What To Pack:  An important thing to note is that WATER SHOES are REQUIRED for the POOL!! Please send your child with water shoes if they plan on swimming in the pool. This is the Retreat Center policy.

  • Health Needs: If your child has any health-related dietary restrictions/medications, we will accommodate all of those needs and you can indicate this on the registration form.
