On Monday, November 28, the Interim NYI Council made a decision regarding the upcoming camps for the Virginia District's youth. Instead of hosting two separate camps (one for middle school students, and another for high school students), the Council decided to move forward with plans for a new combined event. The Virginia District's NEW Youth Camp is now scheduled for July 24-28, 2012.

Virginia District Nazarene Youth International Convention :: May 19, 2012
Our District NYI Convention this year will be held on Saturday, May 19, 2012, at Charlottesville First Church of the Nazarene at 10:00am. Charlottesville First Church is located at 3056 Louisa Road, Keswick, VA 22947. Mark your calendars now so that you and your church youth ministry will be present and represented. This event will be in both Spanish and English since churches with both of these languages will be represented. Don’t miss this special day~ The day will include worship, business, fun, and food. Special elections will be held for the positions on the District NYI Council, and the District NYI President, and the Virginia delegates to the Global NYI Convention (scheduled for Indianapolis June 2013).

Mark your calendars now for the Virginia District’s Nazarene Family Days at Kings Dominion. Ordering your tickets with our event code will provide you with a reduced ticket price and a portion of all proceeds will be donated to the Virginia District. Make sure you take advantage of this opportunity to share a day of fun with family and friends while also benefiting the work of the Church of the Nazarene in Virginia.
