The Virginia District Nazarene Missions International (NMI) Council encourages Virginia District churches to prepare Crisis Care Kits (CCKs) and School Pal Paks (SPPs) and supports this effort by transporting them to the Fawn Grove Compassion Center (FGCC) on your behalf. This saves local churches the trouble and expense of mailing these boxes to FGCC.
We collect these materials on an ongoing basis at the District Resource Center, 5906 Harbour Park Drive, Midlothian, VA 23112, :(804) 739-4884. We will collect at District Assembly and during DIG Camp this summer.
If you have many boxes or questions, please contact Bob Edelman at firstname.lastname@example.org.
Fawn Grove Compassion Center (FGCC) is an ideal location for a short-term mission trip for your team of teens or adults. At the FGCC, teams can assist with sorting and folding donated clothing and other household goods and preparing it for use when and where a need arises. The FGCC is located at the Fawn Grove Church of the Nazarane and teams have the option of staying overnight in the church building while they are serving at FGCC.
FGCC is more than CCKs and SPPs. FGCC can turn used clothing, toys, household goods (such as bedding, fabrics, curtains, etc.), and medical equipment (wheelchairs, walkers, crutches, etc.) into relief supplies in the event of a disaster or great need. Teams can deliver these useful items to FGCC.
Contact Sharon Kessler at FGCC for more information at email@example.com.
