If you have never taken classes through the District Training Center, and you would like to enroll in the Nazarene Course of Study, please complete the Application For Enrollment Form.
Prior to the first class students should go to www.nazarenepastor.org and follow the link for the "24 Modules" to download and print the student guide. Bring the student guide to the first class with you.
Please remember in your course planning the minimum educational requirements for a recommendation for a district license:
New License ” six courses (including "History and Polity of the Church of the Nazarene)
Renewed License ” two courses

The District Training Center exists to provide ministerial education and preparation for those individuals seeking ordination in the Church of the Nazarene. Classes completed for credit will fulfill the educational requirements for ordination. In addition, individuals who are not interested in full time ministry, but who would like to learn more about the Bible and/or the Church of the Nazarene in an academic setting may audit classes for a reduced price. Classes are taught by qualified instructors who are passionate about the material they teach.
How much do classes cost?
Classes taken for ordination credit cost $120 per course plus a $5 electronic transaction fee. Registration is completed online at www.streamsbookstore.com). Cost to audit a course is $35. There may be additional expense incurred to purchase a textbook.
Where are classes taught?
Classes are currently being offered in Lynchburg, Harrisonburg, Richmond, Roanoke, and Online. The DTC will offer classes in other areas as the need arises.
